How do you paint Tin Pressed Ceilings (Metal Ceilings)?
With ADP, we undertake an intricate process when painting tin pressed ceilings to ensure the best, long-lasting paint job possible. This is backed up with a 10 year warranty on all our painting.
We first of all remove existing paint using Dumond Smart Strip Pro Professional Paint Remover.
Secondly, we clean the tin-pressed ceiling.
Our third step is applying Dulux Durebild STE, which prevents rust and provides the best adhesion to tin-pressed ceilings.
Fourthly, we fill the rusted corrosion pits.
Lastly, we apply two coats of Dulux Aquanamel Semi Gloss for that ‘wow’ factor to your ceilings.
Our tip: it is better for clients to not let their ceilings get to a point where a whole paint remove process is required. It is less expensive and easier for ceilings to be painted before that point.
